About Jacquelyn

Founder · Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula

I believe every mother deserves to feel informed, deeply supported, and completely confident as she steps into birth and motherhood. I’m here to walk that journey alongside you.

THE MISSION

Welcoming a baby is one of life's most transformative seasons

I believe every mother deserves to feel informed, deeply supported, and completely confident as she steps into birth and motherhood. I’m here to walk that journey alongside you.

“Birth is not just a medical event. It is a profound, personal experience — and you deserve to be guided through it with intention and care.”

Whether you’re welcoming your first baby or your fourth, Jacquelyn provides the personalized, attentive support that helps you feel calm, informed, and truly ready for the journey ahead.

A Personalized, Experienced Approach

I believe that every mother deserves to feel:

There is no one “right” way to give birth – but there is a right way to support a mother.

In addition to my professional training, I bring deeply personal experience into the work I do. I am a mother of four and have had four unmedicated births in different settings- including hospital birth, home birth, birth center care, and car birth.

Because I have personally walked through such a wide range of birth experiences, I understand firsthand how different each journey can be. This allows me to support my clients with both knowledge and real-life perspective, meeting you exactly where you are.

Whether you are planning a natural birth, hospital birth, or simply want to feel more prepared and less overwhelmed, I provide calm, knowledgeable, and continuous support tailored specifically to you.

As your doula, I am there to guide you through:

MY BACKGROUND & CREDENTIALS

Jacquelyn doesn’t just support birth professionally — she has lived it. Her personal journey through four completely different birth experiences gives her a depth of understanding that goes far beyond certification. She knows what it feels like to be the mother in that room, and that lived experience shapes every aspect of how she supports her clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between your childbirth classes?

Each class is designed to meet you where you are in your pregnancy and preparation.

The 6-week Preparing for Birth course is the most comprehensive and ideal for first-time mothers or families who want full, in-depth preparation.

The MINI course is a condensed version that covers the essentials in a shorter format, perfect for busy families or those wanting a strong foundation without a long commitment.

The Hospital Birth Course focuses specifically on navigating a hospital experience, while the Out-of-Hospital Course is designed for home birth and birth center families who want a more natural, physiologic approach to birth.

Most families take a class between 20–34 weeks, but it’s never too early to start learning.

If you’re later in pregnancy, the MINI or one-day courses are a great option to help you feel prepared quickly without overwhelm.

I offer both traditional (steamed with herbs) and raw dehydration methods so you can choose what aligns best with you.
