As a birth doula serving Orange County, my role is to provide emotional support, physical comfort measures, education, and continuous labor support so you feel informed, confident, and cared for throughout your pregnancy and birth experience.
My training includes infant and adult CPR, HIPAA compliance certification, and certified birth doula and childbirth educator programs. I have also completed Fourth Trimester Fitness Birth Tools for Birth Professionals, and Spinning Babies® education to support optimal positioning and comfort in labor.
I am currently furthering my education as a midwife assistant.

This meeting typically takes place around 30–32 weeks of pregnancy, though I remain flexible for families who book later.
During this meeting, we focus on getting to know one another and understanding your hopes and preferences for birth. We then begin thoughtfully planning and preparing so you feel supported, informed, and ready to carry that vision into your birth experience.
Topics we discuss include:
- Your birth preferences and vision
- Previous birth experiences (if applicable)
- Education on the physiology of labor
- Common hospital procedures and interventions
- How I can best advocate for and support you during labor
- Emotional preparation for birth
We also begin creating a rough draft of your birth plan, ensuring your wishes are clearly communicated and aligned with your provider and birth setting.
This meeting allows me to understand who you are, what matters most to you, and how to support you in the most meaningful way during labor.

Here we shift into hands-on labor preparation and partner involvement so that you both feel confident going into labor.
During this meeting we cover:

- breathing and relaxation methods
- early signs of labor and when to call

What does working with me actually look like?
From the moment you book, I am there to support you emotionally, physically, and educationally throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and immediate postpartum recovery. My goal is to help you feel calm, informed, prepared, and deeply supported during one of the biggest transitions of your life.
Your support includes two prenatal appointments, continuous labor support once active labor is established, immediate postpartum support after birth, and a postpartum debrief visit to help you process your experience and recovery.
Prenatal Appointment 1: Personalized birth planning, education, and preparing mentally and emotionally for birth. Together, we create a customized birth plan tailored to your preferences, goals, and values.
Prenatal Appointment 2: Hands-on labor preparation including comfort measures, labor positioning, partner support techniques, what to expect during labor, and preparing for the flow of birth and hospital logistics.
Labor Support: Continuous support during active labor, birth, and immediate postpartum recovery.
Postpartum Debrief Visit: Time to process your birth experience, ask questions, reflect on your labor, and receive additional postpartum guidance and support.

When should I hire a birth doula?
The earlier you hire a doula, the more support, preparation, and guidance you are able to receive throughout pregnancy. Many families book during the first or second trimester so they have ongoing education, emotional support, birth planning guidance, and preparation leading up to labor.
However, it is never “too late” to benefit from doula support. Whether you are newly pregnant or approaching your due date, having support, education, and preparation during pregnancy can make a meaningful difference in how calm, informed, and confident you feel going into birth.
Because I take a limited number of due dates each month to fully support my clients, earlier booking is always recommended when possible.
